Porto Skala Hotel Village is located in Skala village in the southwest of Kefalonia island. At the nearby beach of Potamakia you can find the caretta-caretta turtles which lay their eggs in the sand. Close to the village are mosaics from a Roman villa of the 3rd century A.D. On the outskirts of the village, there are the ruins of the ancient temple of Apollo, dated the 7th century B.C. The whole area affords a splendid view of Zakynthos , Peloponnese and the Ionian Sea.
